THE BEST DIVINE MEDLEY .....

Not long after Central Station Records had relocated to Flinders Street and opened their Mega Store, I had this record put aside for me to listen to. If anyone has a memory of the DJ booths that existed, then I don't need to explain how fantastic this mix sounded thumping loudly for the first time after being given birth from its sealed cover.I knew I had to have it before I even placed the Stylus on the vinyl. There have been a bunch of medleys made featuring the legendary Divine, but others were not as broad with song choice and let's not forget it was put together by Jim "Hip-Hop" Hopkins, famous for having an extraordinary talent for mixing music primarily for the Hot Tracks remix service, but a bunch of independent projects as well during the mid 80's.
